Review: Le Lion De Chanel

Le Lion De Chanel, one of the most awaited new fragrance by Chanel is simply brilliant. The scent is resinous-oriental. Master Perfumer Oliver Polge is the nose behind this fragrance. You get a bright opening because of the lemon quickly transforming into a dark smoky, ambery, resinous heart. You can also smell a bit of vanilla, not so overpowering though along with patchouli which expresses itself during the dry down. Overall structure rather than the individual notes is what impressed the most.

In words of Chanel " Gabrielle Chanel was born on August 19, 1883, under the sign of Leo. Majestic, indomitable and wild, the lion is more than just her astrological symbol; it also embodies Mademoiselle’s radiant personality and serves as inspiration for this powerful fragrance."

  • Head Notes: Lemon, Bergamot
  • Heart Notes: Labdanum, Bourbon vanilla
  • Base Notes: Sandalwood, Patchouli and Musk

Le Lion de Chanel is a beautifully orchestrated symphony of notes! This fragrance has great projection and sillage and we would highly recommend you trying this amazing fragrance from the house of Les Exclusifs De Chanel.
