Vanilla Mudslide by BLNDRGRPHY: Stay for One More

The RichandLuxe Journal · October 19, 2026

The espresso has arrived, the room has grown quieter, and the conversation has no reason to end. Vanilla Mudslide by BLNDRGRPHY belongs in the imagined space between a final course and another hour together. Its name promises pleasure; its composition gives that pleasure several shades.

For today’s portrait, we have exchanged daylight for a low burgundy glow and a polished brown counter. The amber bottle stands beneath its substantial stone cap, a small piece of brutalist sculpture in a room made for lingering.

The recipe has a bitter edge

Created by Anne-Sophie Behaghel and launched in 2024, Vanilla Mudslide is an extrait de parfum. The house lists bitter almond, a butter note and coconut milk at the opening. Cocoa, coffee, davana, sweet almond and vanilla form the heart; Iso E Super, Ambroxan, vodka and white musks make up the base.

Almond appears in two forms, an interesting detail for a fragrance with such an inviting name. The bitter association offers a different starting point from the sweeter one in the heart. Coffee and cocoa bring their own darker references beside vanilla, while the butter and coconut-milk notes suggest a softer setting around them.

Read that arrangement as a set of possibilities. You might be drawn first to the almond theme, or to the meeting of coffee and vanilla. The cocktail reference may be the detail that makes you curious. The pleasure of discovery is finding which part of a composition becomes most meaningful to you.

A gourmand in evening dress

Within gourmand perfumery, the language of food can be wonderfully precise: toasted, bitter, creamy, roasted. It gives us a way to discuss an impression without reducing a perfume to something on a menu.

Our visual reading follows that idea. Espresso-brown lacquer supplies depth; ivory porcelain catches a little light; the smoked background lets the bottle’s amber color come forward. A vanilla pod and a few coffee beans provide quiet references to the composition. The scene is an editorial interpretation, with the fragrance bottle as its unmistakable center.

Notice the contrast between the cap and the glass. One is porous and pale, the other smooth and translucent. The graphic label introduces another change of rhythm, its inverted lettering encouraging a second look. It is a bottle with enough character to carry the photograph without an elaborate table setting.

Stay for one more conversation

We would consider Vanilla Mudslide for a cool evening, a dinner with friends, or an occasion when a gourmand direction feels right alongside a favorite jacket. Choose it for the notes that interest you, then give yourself time to discover their balance.
