Our Impressions of Jade Amour
Yellow mandarin and bergamot frame a jade-vine accord, a perfumed interpretation of a flower rather than a claim that the flower has a natural scent. Jasmine, ylang-ylang and vanilla add floral and sweet references, above vetiver, Muscone and sandalwood. We find that imagined botanical center engaging because familiar materials give the invented floral subject several points of comparison.
We would explore it for a bright afternoon or a spring dinner. It may suit someone who enjoys floral compositions and the creative possibilities of accords. Within the Artist Collection, Jade Amour makes a thoughtful comparison with Fleur Danger: both approach an imagined flower, but the latter brings steel, rum and suede-related materials into its setting.
