Storage & Care
At RichandLuxe, all fragrances are stored in a cool, dark environment to help preserve their integrity. Dedicated measuring equipment is used for each fragrance to maintain purity and prevent cross-contamination.
Once your decant arrives, store it upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep the cap securely in place when not in use.

Our Impressions of Dark Velvet
Dark Velvet offers a different route into woody fragrance: its opening is lifted by citrus and eucalyptus, giving the composition a sense of air before the woods take shape. Vetiver introduces an earthy line, while lily of the valley suggests a delicate floral counterpoint. The pairing of Georgywood and Akigalawood makes woody texture central to the composition, with Ambroxan and amyris completing the base.
We would place this alongside tailored clothing and understated evening plans, while its fresh opening also makes it an interesting choice to explore for daytime.
