Our Impressions of Astrea
Astrea pairs a bright opening of bergamot, grapefruit and pink pepper with a heart of rose, caramel and frankincense. The contrast is appealing: citrus and dry spice sit above a warmer, sweeter floral center.
Amber, musk and vanilla complete a rounded foundation. We appreciate the way frankincense adds a resinous counterpoint to caramel and rose, giving this softly gourmand direction a little more shade and texture.
