Our Impressions of Oro e Miele
The character of Oro e Miele comes from the way its gourmand materials meet the flowers. Almond blossom and heliotrope introduce a delicate powdery idea before honey and vanilla bring a richer sweetness. Coconut adds another creamy facet, while iris makes a bridge between the floral opening and a base of tonka bean, benzoin and woods.
We would explore it on cooler days, at an unhurried dinner or whenever a soft gourmand feels right. Clients drawn to honey and vanilla have several other textures to discover here: a floral outline, a powdery centre and the quieter structure of sandalwood and cedarwood beneath the sweetness.
