Our Impressions of Nuit De Sable
Nuit de Sable has a particularly evocative contrast between spices and rose. Cardamom, nutmeg and cumin establish the opening, while the sand accord introduces an abstract detail beside the flower. Sandalwood, tonka bean, musk and ambroxan complete the base. We are interested in how the familiar spice-and-rose pairing relates to this less literal sandy idea.
We would explore Nuit de Sable for a cool evening, especially in a collection that already enjoys rose with spices.
