Our Impressions of The Yulong
The Yulong places two tea references at the center of its arrangement. Mandarin, petitgrain and cardamom form the opening; green tea and black tea share the heart with orange blossom and jasmine. Vetiver, ambrette and iris occupy the base. We find the pairing of green and black tea especially interesting, with flowers and citrus providing several useful points of comparison.
We would sample this for a daytime wardrobe that enjoys tea and botanical themes. Follow petitgrain beside the two teas, then consider orange blossom and jasmine with iris and ambrette. A decant lets you assess the full arrangement and compare it with the separately listed Soie de Nacre edition without relying on the shared name alone.
