The Character of Raw Materials

A graduate of ISIP, Piot extended her training with perfumers and flavorists. Les Bains Guerbois describes her interest in working with natural and raw materials, using clear accords to reveal their facets without obscuring their character. It is an approach well suited to fragrances inspired by the history and changing atmosphere of a setting.

From Parisian Baths to an Artist's Studio

1885 Bains Sulfureux brings mandarin and rosemary together with white flowers, incense, benzoin and tonka. 2013 Résidence d'Artistes presents a different palette of peach, violet, papyrus and creamy sandalwood, accompanied by a leather accord. Les Jeux Sont Faits by Jovoy turns toward gin, dried fruit, tobacco, spices and leather. The three compositions suggest distinct interiors and moods, inviting discovery through the materials that give each its particular character.
