The Perspective of a Founder

The Gate's exhibition history identifies Adwan as the owner behind the brand, which introduced its Love Collection at Esxence in Milan in 2016. This editorial celebrates that founding vision. A fragrance house brings together several forms of creativity, and a founder's contribution is distinct from the composition credit for an individual perfume.

A Precious Moment in Scent

Precious Moment is the carried house fragrance featured here. Cardamom and dried fruit introduce a warm, spiced character, followed by tuberose, saffron and tobacco-flower nuances over patchouli. Our impression is of a composition that gives its floral heart a particularly rich setting. The contrast between spice, fruit and flowers offers a way into the house's emotional world without reducing that world to a single ingredient or a single author.
