Our Impressions of Emir
Emir offers a clear conversation between brightness and wood. Grapefruit and orange bring an energetic citrus introduction, while geranium, sage and white pepper add an aromatic, lightly spiced middle. The oud and cedar sit within a base supported by patchouli and musk. It is that movement from citrus to aromatic woods that distinguishes the composition.
We would try Emir when seeking an oud direction with a more open, citrus-led entry. A cool daytime outing or an informal evening could suit its character. Follow the sage and geranium through the transition: they provide a bridge between the fruit and the deeper wooded materials.
