Liz Moores is the founder and perfumer of Papillon Artisan Perfumes. Her work makes room for the expressive qualities of animalic textures, resins and leather, approaching composition with the freedom of an independent author. Salome, Spell 125 and Epona offer a particularly revealing encounter with that world: intimate, ritualistic and connected to the atmosphere of horses and tack.
Olfactory Signature
Softness and shadow remain in close conversation. A floral suggestion can make an animalic accord more intimate; incense can give darkness a contemplative mood; leather can evoke both a material and a lived experience.
