Our Impressions of Oud Imperial
We read it as a study in dark wood grain: resinous, textured and warmed by spice. Papyrus and incense give the floral opening a more austere setting.
Its woody direction suits an evening wardrobe, cooler days and clients drawn to oud with aromatic detail. We would explore it slowly to appreciate the relationship between cumin, resins and woods.
