Our Impressions of Rose Milano
Rose Milano places rose within a fruit, citrus and earthy framework. Pear, bergamot and lemon form the opening, while rose and jasmine share the heart. Moss and patchouli occupy the base. We find the contrast between juicy fruit references and the mossy foundation central to its appeal as a composition to explore, with jasmine providing another floral angle alongside rose.
We would consider this for a spring occasion or a comparison of rose chypres. A decant allows you to follow pear and lemon beside rose, then assess moss and patchouli as separate points of reference.
