Our Impressions of Doux Ennui
The apricot marmalade and salted butter accord makes Doux Ennui especially intriguing. Mandarin offers brightness around the preserve, and peach continues the fruit theme without losing the floral presence of ylang-ylang. Osmanthus is a thoughtful link between those ideas, joining the fruit and flower facets above a warm vanilla and benzoin base.
