Our Impressions of Suma Oriental
We are drawn to the contrast between cocoa's dry richness and the earthy character of patchouli. Rum adds a rounded warmth, but the woody foundation gives the composition a more contemplative mood than a straightforward confection.
This feels suited to a quiet evening, a small gathering or time spent with a favourite book. We would suggest it to clients who enjoy patchouli and want to explore its relationship with gourmand materials without losing its wooded identity.
