Our Impressions of Bukhara
Bukhara opens with the lightly sweet impression of pear beside bergamot, coriander and the aromatic warmth of caraway. The fruit is framed by spice, leaving room for the powdery-earthy character of iris and orris to come forward.
Ambrette gives the heart a softly musky texture, with osmanthus, jasmine and apricot adding floral and fruit nuances. Clove and saffron bring warm accents, while benzoin resin, amber, woods and musks round out the base. Schwieger’s transparent silk accord adds an airy textural idea to this otherwise tactile combination.
