Our Impressions of Ambre Topkapi
Ambre Topkapi’s name sits above a notably aromatic note story. Lavender, thyme and absinth accompany citrus, pineapple and spices before jasmine, lily of the valley and violet. Moss, patchouli, vetiver and sandalwood then provide earthy references alongside raspberry, tea, amber, vanilla and musk; there is considerably more here to consider than amber alone.
We would approach it for a polished daytime occasion or a cool evening appointment. The combination of herbs, fruit and woods may appeal to someone who enjoys classical aromatic structures with additional detail.
