Lavender, sandalwood and vanilla meet in L’Amour Pourpre. The aromatic reference of lavender is placed beside creamy wood and a sweeter amber-associated note, creating a clear contrast of textures. We find that interplay more interesting than any one material alone: lavender introduces a familiar herbaceous subject, while sandalwood and vanilla give it a warmer setting to explore.
