Our Impressions of La Ravissante
La Ravissante gives its fruity theme an unusually varied palette: starfruit, nashi pear, pomegranate and finger lime are accented by pink pepper. Honeysuckle, osmanthus, jasmine sambac and magnolia meet ozonic notes at the heart. Sandalwood, driftwood and white musk frame marshmallow and vanilla in the base, linking bright fruit with softer sweet associations.
We would sample it for a warm-weather outing or a relaxed afternoon gathering. It may appeal to someone who enjoys fruity fragrances but wants to compare different kinds of sweetness and floral texture. The finger lime and driftwood references make useful points of contrast with the peach-and-tuberose theme in Péché Cardinal.
