Our Impressions of La Surprise
La Surprise places leafy freshness and rhubarb beside cardamom and bergamot. White blossoms, rose, peach, freesia and violet broaden the floral heart, while woods, musk, a solar note, patchouli and sandalwood supply its setting. We find the contrast between tart rhubarb and the softer floral-fruit references especially engaging.
We would explore this composition for a spring outing or a daytime celebration. It may suit someone looking at florals with green and fruity accents rather than choosing by one flower alone.
