THE ART OF PERFUMERY
Christine Hassan
Scent as a Sculpted Emotion
A REMARKABLE JOURNEY
Christine Hassan — Scent as a Sculpted Emotion
Perfume can suggest a scene without describing it literally. Christine Hassan approaches that possibility with a sensibility shaped by visual and spatial arts. In her compositions for Mind Games, contrasts of texture and atmosphere offer a way into fragrance that feels imaginative yet carefully considered.
From Visual Expression to Fragrance
Mind Games introduces Hassan as a New Yorker with a background in sculpture and cinematography. The house connects those disciplines with her interest in layering and emotional expression through scent. Her work encourages a similar kind of attention from the wearer: not merely identifying individual notes, but noticing how they create a mood together, and how one material can change the impression of another.
Two Mind Games Discoveries
Playmate explores a luminous floral direction, with lemon, coconut milk and white flowers resting on a soft, warm base. Arabian Mate turns toward spiced pear, flowers and woods, with cardamom, rose and oud among its defining details. Presented together, they reveal two distinct atmospheres rather than an artificially expanded selection. The individual RichandLuxe fragrance pages offer a closer look at each composition and the formats currently carried.
