Cypress Shade has a clear contrast between bright citrus and the cooler suggestion of aromatic leaves. Star anise adds a distinctive detail to the opening, and mimosa introduces a softer floral element among mint, petitgrain and coriander. Cedarwood and vetiver provide a dry woody setting for those greener notes, with oud completing the base.
We would explore it in spring or early autumn, when fresh notes feel welcome but a woody structure still appeals.
